I do online promotions for music/bands, and I am co-founder of VGIR promotions. I started a myspace group called "Vancouvers Greatest Indie Rock" last year, so I could feature some of my friends' bands, and eventually Megan(a fellow street teamer) got involved and we created the myspace, based on that group, for what is now VGIR Promotions. VGIR Promotions(formerly known as Vancouvers Greatest Indie Rock) began as just a myspace group. It was designed to help out a few select bands, but quickly grew as we kept discovering new talent. So we decided to branch out to a myspace page and a facebook group as well. We do online promotions, help create fanbases, help bands find shows/new band members/etc, networking and much more! I run fan pages/street teams for several bands. I'm also on the official street team for Dine Alone Records.
