GOOD GRIEF!

Good Grief! is a rock band that kicks your ass while satisfying your sweet-tooth at the same time. Hailing from Vancouver, the band features insightful lyrics, addictive melodies, and a straight-forward, edgy sound that takes the listener back to the best days of the 90's. The band is the musical vision of Conor Brandt. After the original line-up of his teen-aged Good Grief dispanded, he engaged himself in the Vancouver music scene through mutiple bands including: 3 Fly, Flipswitch, On Holiday, and most recently Voices in the Attic. While the whole time contributing creatively to the projects mentioned, he felt the need to put together a collection of songs he'd written on his own. Therefore, Good Grief was resurrected. Over the autumn of 2008, Conor entered Sandbag Studios with Producer, Engineer, and surf brosensei Chris Jaggers. 7 songs were recorded with drummer- extraordinaire Shane Wilson on the kit and Conor playing all other instruments. The next phase was to complete the live line-up. Chris Jaggers opted to take on bass and back-up vocal duties, Shane Wilson was set to punish the drum kit and talented colleague Darren Scott signed on to play rythym guitar. With the band complete and the EP due out in late '09, there is nothing stopping this rock juggernaut from gaining unprecedented momentum.
