Since their beginnings in late 2004, HELCION has consistently strove to raise their own personal bar - be it song crafting, live performance, or just the professionalism with which this band carries itself in all aspects of the business. Having developed a sound that has been widely accepted by the general public but a little too ?Niche? for mainstream radio, it has forced them to take a more D.I.Y. approach to exposing their music. HELCION?s sound draws from many genre?s but does not dwell long enough in any of them to fit into a particular style or label. Having shared the stage with Alternative, Rock, Metal, Hard-core, Ska, Emo, Punk, Rockabilly, Folk, Black Metal, Pop, - it has allowed the band to draw fans from everywhere, and gave them the confidence to be comfortable in their own skin.
