Not a lot I can recommend. Last band I was in it took us months to get the "right" bassist and drummer. Trust me, its worth finding the right people.

I'd try to post signs at school (maybe other schools as well?), post on Kijiji and Craigslist, and spread the word through other bands you might know. Maybe go to other all ages shows around town and network with some of the bands.

Unforgettable show moment:
I was singing with Electric Shock at The Hive on february 19th, and I was sick. I've been coughing for two weeks, and it wasn't over yet! But people told me that it sounded great anyways :)

First concert:
I saw Iron Maiden live on March 16th at the Air Canada Center... just phenomenal...

First CD:
Fear Of the Dark, by Iron Maiden... I still have it :P

This Rocks:
Iron Maiden, Angra, Firewind, Sonata Arctica, Avantasia, Edenbridge, Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Nightwish, Epica, Sirenia, Dream Evil, Shaman, Symphony X, Children of Bodom, Helloween, Edguy, Bruce dickinson, etc...

This Sucks:
Pop, rap, most techno, some screamo, etc...
