Fuelled by the desire to create their brand of melodic and emotionally driven rock, The Senticsphere has worked tirelessly with passion and dedication to get their music out to the world.
With their newest offering entitled ‘Day One’ and a successful Canadian National Tour under their wings in support of the record, the band has gained tremendous attention from industry professionals and rock fans alike, while building an even stronger presence through digital media. Touring from BC's west coast to southern Ontario, the band made fans, followers and friends with their highly energetic and crowd rousing live shows. While on the road during the fall season, they hit radio stations, universities, and colleges across Canada giving interviews and live on-air performances. Earning the 2009 Vancouver Fox Seeds Top Ten, and having their first radio smash single ‘On the Edge’ see air play on 99.3 The Fox, also put the band in prime position to be seen and heard.
The Senticsphere recorded 'Day One' at The Factory and Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver, BC with Jay 'Juice' Evjen of Juice Mix Productions (The Age of Electric, Wide Mouth Mason, Hot Hot Heat). The band packed the house at their album street release on May 23rd 2009, even outselling the venue’s busiest night during that year's JUNO FEST! Sponsors included 99.3 The Fox and ROCKSTAR Energy Drink with partial proceeds being donated to Warchild Canada.
In 2008, they played the International Emergenza Festival and won the Western Canadian final in Vancouver. On a national level, after 5 months and 200 competing bands they flew to Montreal. It was there where they rocked out at the legendary venue ‘Le Medley’ to win 2nd in the nation. It was that same year they were the opening act for then newly signed Universal recording artist 'The Veer Union'.
In 2006, their debut EP 'Waking the Sun' produced by Jason Mauza (Everclear, Foo Fighters, Kd Lang) was reviewed online through garageband.com winning online awards such as 'Best Male Vocals in Hard Rock', 'Best Programming in Hard Rock' and 'Track of the Week' twice over.
The single 'More' made it's way across oceans to be on the 2008 Australian motorsport DVD 'Gazza Nationals' soundtrack, available throughout Australia and New Zealand.
This band reaches its fans through positive messages that battle the inner and outer conflicts experienced throughout life. Emotion and passion flows from every melody and word. Light heart driving rhythm turns to intense dark edged rock, delivered in big anthemic songs. The Senticsphere is Warren Hall (vocals), Roy Benetti (guitars), Chris ‘Pooh’ Poole (bass/vocals) and Sean Welch (percussion).
